Technical error reports

When enabled, technical error reporting helps us investigate failed saves, reservations, sign-ins and page loads. It is for service reliability, not advertising, and does not add tracking cookies or session recordings.

The application report contains an operation category, an allowlisted error code, a broad page category and a software release identifier. When available, it also includes a predefined diagnostic category, an application/external script classification, a hashed application JavaScript filename with line and column, and a numeric React error code. The server adds the environment, time and grouped counts. These reports do not include names, email addresses, account IDs, gift contents, private list links, full page URLs, raw error messages or stack traces.

Administrators can view grouped reports in a restricted dashboard. Up to 100 groups are kept in server memory; the oldest group is replaced when full. Groups with no matching report for more than 30 days are removed on the next report or dashboard read; recurring groups can remain longer. Restarting the server clears this memory.

Sampled technical reports also appear in Hostinger runtime logs. When email alerts are configured, Resend sends a technical summary to our administrators, not to list participants. Resend stores message content and delivery logs in the United States and states a 30-day email and log retention period for its standard plans. Its Data Processing Addendum includes Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.

The dashboard expiry does not delete Hostinger logs or email copies. Hosting and recipient mailbox retention are managed separately. Hosting infrastructure may also process IP addresses and requested URLs independently of the limited application report.
